Washington County Arrest History

The wording can change at each stage.
Washington County Arrest Roster Workaround
No verified public Washington County jail roster or sheriff booking database was found on the official county site. Do not replace that gap with a commercial inmate or mugshot page. Call the sheriff at 573-438-5478 for recent local custody, give the correctly spelled full name and an approximate arrest date, and ask whether the person is held, transferred, or released. If a phone check does not supply the record, send a narrow Missouri Sunshine request to the sheriff’s custodian. State the record type, event date or short date range, location, name, and known booking or report number. Ask for electronic copies, segregable open fields, and a cost estimate. Washington County did not publish a base report fee, so the custodian must confirm current cost.

Booking Logs and Recent Arrests
Washington County does not provide a verified browser booking log in the sources reviewed. Recent information must come from the sheriff, the responsible police agency, or the five-day MSHP page when a trooper made the arrest. Case.net can reveal a later filing, but a new booking may precede the case. An empty court search does not rule out fresh custody.
Even where a roster exists, it usually reflects current or recent custody. Records can roll off after release or transfer. A booking entry captures intake allegations and conditions at that moment. It does not prove the prosecutor filed the same counts, or any count at all.

The official Washington County Sheriff, MO Android app advertises agency news, crime reporting, tips, and other interactive public-safety features. Its store text did not verify a roster, warrant search, report-copy system, or record-request module. Use it as an official news and tip channel, then inspect the live version before assuming any custody feature is present.
The app can supplement direct contact, but it does not replace the sheriff’s custody confirmation or a public-record request. It is not for emergencies; call 911 in an emergency.
Washington County Arrest Report Requests
Missouri §610.023 requires each public body to name a records custodian and act on a request by the end of the third business day. If access cannot be provided then, the custodian must give a detailed reason and the earliest time and place for access. This is a response deadline, not a promise that every report will be produced within three days.

Name the agency, record type, report or booking number, date, location, desired format, and a cost ceiling. Ask the custodian to cite the law behind any denial and release open portions that can be separated from closed material.
Washington County Arrest Record Thirty-Day Rule
Missouri §610.100 treats arrest reports as open at first. If no charge is filed, the report closes after 30 days except for disposition information. Active investigative details can also be withheld, while victim identity and other protected information must be guarded. That shift helps explain why a recent official entry can become less available without having been erased.
A MACHS public response follows a different rule. Under §43.506, open repository information includes convictions, pending charges, arrests less than 30 days old, an active suspended imposition of sentence, and an active sex-offender-registration response. MACHS is statewide and paid; it is not the same document as the local arrest report.
Washington County Arrest Custody Notifications

An arrest records suspected conduct and a transfer into custody. A conviction requires a court judgment of guilt. These records have different creators, fields, and endpoints. Follow a booking into the Washington County criminal court case only when a prosecutor files charges, then read each count’s final disposition.
